This image represents what I have with the map editor as of 7-5-2000.
Okay, here is the next major change, this is only a preliminary change,
but it appears to look nice. So far, only the water textures have changed.
Next the other terrain will be texture mapped, and finally the texture
mapping will be traced, so that special textures will be added for shading,
and transitions from different types of terrain. With the color & texture
mapping together it appears that there is some wierd flickering, it may be
related to how the quads are drawn. I'll look into it further later. I'm hoping
that it'll clear up with the last bit of texture mapping.
This image is the full texture mapping, with modifications necessary, this
is basically a start point for the real texture mapping. This will be refined as
time goes on. Hopefully there will be smooth transitions ect... when we get that far.
